OMG I just saw Stellan again! At least, I'm like 99% sure, I was walking pretty fast and there was no way to slow down to get more than a passing glance at him without being super obviously rubbernecking! The stupid thing is, I was planning on going to the place where I saw him to sit out in the sun and have me a glass of wine (don't want to say where, I don't know whose reading this so don't want a hoard of people running down there because of me!!) but when I saw him I panicked and kept walking in case he thought I was just going in there because of him (even though I'm pretty sure he didn't see me) and now I'm home with no wine! Oh well.
He was wearing aviator sunglasses, and looked pretty Hollywood, even though he was talking to a little dude (his little dude? Can't he sure) which was also cute!!!!!!!

I think you have to get used to that. Especially in Södermalm you'll probably meet more than one Skarsgård plus a few of their famous friends. :D
Man!! So now I have to add "learn to play it cool around Skarsgårds" to my realy long list of things to do to settle in in Sweden!!!
Hmmm... will that be easier or harder than learning to speak Swedish I wonder?!
Well, in my case I'd say it's harder than learning Swedish (because Swedish isn't that hard if you have similar sounds already in your language) but since you're American I'd say it would be easier for you to play cool around Skarsgårds. :D
I think you just have to pretend you don't know him and treat him like everyone else on the street. I believe he'd appreciate that.
Well, that's what everybody else does, what's the problem? No ones is going to run down there, everybody knows where they live, it's not exactly a secret, but people don't act that way here.
Seriously, people know where they live, like what apartment? That's a bit weird. I don't know where anybody I don't know personally lives.
Not the exact apartement (but it wouldn't be hard to find out), but it doesn't matter, people here tend to show respect and let people be, even if they happen to be movie stars.
Umm okay but I didn't bother him either! And I don't know where he lives and I wouldn't want to know! Are you saying I should have announced to the whole world exactly where he was because no one in Stockholm would have cared? Not a responsibility I would want to take thank you very much!!
No, and I didn't mean that you did! You're allowed to be starstruck! :) I'm saying that noone would care if you announced it because almost everybody knows what neighbourhood he lives in anyway, it's not a secret. It's not like there are hoardes of people or paparazzi hanging around Mosebacke/Högbergsgatan anyway...
Hmm maybe, but there still could be weirdos reading this and it's different knowing the general area than when I posted he was probably still there. It wasn't exactly that neighborhood anyway ;-) (close)
I know pretty well where he lives and yes it is, but I guess he does walk in other areas too... ;)
Anyway, don't worry about weirdos, I don't think anyone famous in Sweden lives on a very secret adress, it simply isn't neccessary. You saw him shopping yourself, celebrities don't need to hide here like (often) in the US.
Well actually his address isn't relevant because it wasn't at his house I saw him! And you are right, he wasn't hiding, just standing out in the street like a regular person which was nice to see. I guess I didn't want to risk ruining that for him even a tiny bit because it was such a beautiful day. Even if I was being a little bit over cautious I guess better safe than sorry!!
Sounds like the nice thing to do, yes! :)
Lucky you :D
